infiniti g35 maintenance cost? hey everyone i was considering buying an infiniti g35.. A 2005 and was wondering if anyone knows anything about maintenance.. look how much it cost and things that i have to do

Simon T replied: "it's the same as any car really but major repairs are expensive as they can only really be done by infiniti mechanics"

Big T replied: "Normal maintenance is not much more than any other car, but read car reviews on sites such as kelly blue book and see if there are any common problems."

2007 Infiniti g35 Sedan Maintenance Required Light? The maintenance required light is on and I got the maitenance done somewhere other than the Infiniti dealership. How do i get the maintenance required light to turn off?

Alex H replied: "I would call your dealership and ask them. You might have voided your warranty because you went to another place to get your scheduled maintenance done. To my knowledge, you need to have your car serviced at the dealership to keep your waranty intact. I have the 2006 G35 and I don't see an option to reset it. You can however, change the milage requirement for the reminder and it can just remind you later.... Good Luck! I hope I am wrong about my warranty advice..."

sacarey1999 replied: "If you are talking about the red lit area in between the speedo and tach that is showing the maintanence light on, you can press the buttons on the right side of the driver console area to go thru the menus. There will be an option to reset warnings. You can also change the maintanence intervals so the warnings do not show up anymore. Consult the owners guide for more details"

infiniti g35 maintenance? is this car a good car..is the maintenance very expensive and frequent..tell me soemthin bad abt this car. i m abt to buy it...2006 38k miles automatic for abt 21K

phillykelloggguy replied: "It's a great car, but requires regular maintenance like any other. I wouldn't say it needs "frequent" maintenance, but parts and labor won't be cheap, even for wear and tear items like brakes, shocks, etc. Overall it is a well-built and reliable car so you shouldn't have too many problems. Infinitis are built in Japan and tend to be a bit more reliable than Nissans, which are built in USA. Just check the '06 for any records of oil consumption issues. There have been some 05-06 cars that had excessive OC, but Infiniti will replace the engine if it's documented that it has OC. This isn't that common, BTW."

Henry replied: "It's a good car but goes through brakes."

Shiri replied: "gas mileage isn't too great. back seat doesn't fold down. very bad fourth gear."

sonia b replied: "the regular oil changes are the same as any other car. i would recommend doing this at the dealer same price as anywhere else, good solid car that is fun to drive."

Wegiel replied: "Awesome car. Buy Brembo brakes for it. Everyone says fix the brakes so just get custom Brembos and you're good."

Infiniti G35 coupe? High maintenance? So, if I bought an infiniti G35 coupe at 30,000 miles, well how high maintenance are G35's after that point? For example, I know from experience that Mercedes E class is terribly high maintenance, but I haven't seen too many complaints in the reviews for the G35...opinions?

Bugs Bunny replied: "Infiniti's are known to go through rotors and pads like there's no tomorrow."

mpoll replied: "if you have a manual, make sure not to do high rpm clutch drops in his car. A lot of people do this when they are racing or whatever and destroy the clutch. The G launches best at around 3-3.5k so just remember that and you should be fine"

The Corner replied: "I had a G35 coupe, but now I have a TL. I never had any problems with the G coupe, the only thing I ever did was change the brake pads, and resurface the rotors, and was because I drove like a crazy person"

I have a 03 infiniti g35 should i get the 60k maintenance done at the dealer? cheaper alternative? - has 66,000 miles on it - dealer is charging $750!! - can i wait? - can i get done at nissan dealer?

Will S replied: "I own a shop and I would do it for less than 500 bucks. Shop around, ask a national chain to print off the 60 k services, then you can compare prices. I dont feel like looking it up on Mitchell right now but any shop out there, if you walk in the door and ask what a 60k consists of for that vehicle, would be more than happy to print it out and give you a copy. It's good to see a good consumer inquiring about maintenance, too many neglect this."

How is the maintenance cost of Infiniti cars? How does Infiniti differ from BMW, Lexus, Mercd in mainten cost? I have been looking to purchase a car and had my mind set on either BMW or Lexus. I have been informed that the maintenance cost for these expensive cars are expensive, of course. Recently, I turned my eyes into Infiniti cars. I'm not sure as to how dramamatically difference in BMW, Lexus, Mercedes VS. Infiniti. I'm looking to purchase either Infiniti G35 sedan or G35 coupe. Any suggestions in addition to my question above? Thanks!

hotdogseeksbun replied: "Lexus,Infiniti,BMW, Mercedes in that order."

dingleberry_brown replied: "The maintenamce costs for BMW's are $0 for four years as part of thier full coverage plan. So this means that you don't spend any money on oil changes, brakes, rotors, tires, or any other wear and tear parts. Their factory warranty covers everything that goes wrong with their car. But if you buy a Bimmer your car is going to be in the shop about every month for something that goes wrong with it. It doesn't cost any money to take your car to be fixed every month, but it gets to be a headache really fast. Infiniti is BMW's Japanese rival. The G sedan and coupe compare with the 3 series BMW's, but the Infiniti G35 is a little bit better in terms of handling and theres only a small differance in speed. I have an 05 G35x sedan and my cousin has the 06 coupe. Neither one of us have run into any problems, except for the fact the the G coupe sucks in winter. My cousin had to go up a hill in reverse just so he could make it up; mine doesn't have those problems. The 07 G sedan is an awesome drive, very similar to BMW's drive, but the car in general is nothing special, I got sick of it really fast when I had the loaner. If you're going to buy a G coupe, you should wait till the G37 comes out. Thats the new G coupe and it is a lot better than the old one. Its up to you which one you want: the old one or the new one. Your going to rarely run into a maintenance problem with a G35 and in my opinion its better than BMW for the price and all that. The maintenance costs in lexus is only for oil changes and brakes. If you buy the brake pads from Lexus they give you free pads for life; they'll just charge for installation. Other than that you are going to be problem free for as long as you keep the car. I'm guessing you are either looking at an ES350, or an IS 350/250 (one of those). The ES 350 is one of the most relaxed cars that I've ever been in. I fell in love with it since then. Its quicker than you would imagine too. It is like the ultimate entry level luxury car. The IS 250 is actually a little slower than the ES, but you can drive it much faster through curves without noticing how fast your going. The IS 350 is one of the fastest cars in the range your looking for. Other than that there is not much more to say. It quicker and handles better than the 250, but isn't available in manual. Both cars are a little bit cramped though. I think getting a Lexus is your best bet because of the usefulness of it plus you can drive it fast whenever you feels like it. The service at Lexus is untouchable. Mercedes now share parts and are even built by Chrysler and I don't think that it is worth the money. You will only be able to get a C class for the price of all the others. Maintenance costs will be outragous when the warranty runs out, (same with the BMW), abd since its made by Chysler you are going to run into a lot of problems. Lexus -1 Infiniti- 2 BMW- 3 Mercedes- 4 That is the order that I would rank these cars based on what your looking for."

classicrv88 replied: "Actually, Infiniti is neither German or Japanese. Like Nissan, it's French, but made in Mexico. Which means terrible engine quality and materials. Get a Lexus, TRUE luxury and performance car! Germans have lost engineering long ago! DONT go with Infiniti, A LOT of problems"

man_with_koolaid_smile replied: "who cares rich people drive them next thing you will wanna know how far they go on a gallon of gas LOL"

asjrb replied: "I have Benz and Lexus. My colleagues own BMW who always complained about the how expensive it is to fix at the dealer and reliability is also not good. From my personal experience, Benz has poor quality. I own ML320. My other cars are 98 GS 300 and 07 GS 350. Very happy with their quality."

hij87676 replied: "infinit is expensive too"

??? replied: "Lexus, Infiniti, BMW & Mercedes,"

Estimated Car Maintenance on a 07 G35 Coupe? Hey guys, im looking at cars and really like the Infiniti 07 G35 Coupe and was wondering how to find the estimated car maintenance. Im trying to figure out the financial things with it and need it asap. Please help, thank you.

manuel replied: "if it has 0-120k milesexpect routine maintenance like tune ups and oil changes tires plugs like 11 each air filter but k&n and reuse it after cleaning like 40+ tires huge variable better off paying more for 60k lasting tires 90 on front pads 90 on rear rotors front and back about 150 each and maybe just changed twice at most and lil stupid things that can pop up given that you bought a well taken car of car and lil things that can pop up like hoses, fuses b"

Is an Infiniti G35 coupe a reliable car? im looking into buying a used G35 coupe. but i want to know how reliable these cars are. and is it a high maintenance car?

Wildbill replied: "I have a 2006 G35 coupe. The only thing I dislike is that you cannot rotate the tires, there is road noise coming off the front tires and it seems to depreciate more than other vehicles. However, that's the price you pay for a sporty car. Google Infinity G35 problems."

Chuck Norris, MD replied: "^You own an Inifinti, yet you can't even spell it properly? Anyway, yes its a reliable car. It has the praised Nissan VQ35 engine."

Frank White replied: "The basics are reliable but there are issues. Brakes, window regulators, the interior is beyond cheap, cheap leather. Overall yeah, its pretty reliable but its not perfect."

Matt replied: "it really is a great car. its japanese so its good engineering all around with some issues here and there just like any car. i would most def recommend them for anybody that can afford them. plus they look sexy :D"

Wegiel replied: "It's good. But have a good job so you can upkeep the car."

luxurie laces replied: "no car is perfect, if u can afford this upscale car its good,if u can maintain it too kudos to you.just consider the too, price and maintenance, they go together.i think you get what u pay for, a few luxury tweeks, enough hp and torque, the look and design. then factor in the premium fuel, infiniti parts (all nissan)but labour done by dealership.etc gets costly"

2009 Honda Accord Coupe V6 or 2006 Infiniti G35 Coupe? NEW 2009 Honda Accord Coupe V6, or USED 2006 Infiniti G35 Coupe?? and the G35 coupe will be a Certified Pre-Owned, so its warranty will last to 2012. Will the maintenance fee of G35 be much more expensive? Which one should i go with? im waiting for any answer, Thank you guys !!

Dirty BL replied: "the maintenance fee of G35 will be a lot more expensive, so go with Honda Accord Coupe... but...it's all up to you. they're both very nice cars."

Karl replied: "I reckon I'd take the new one, ummhmm. And make sure you get some feller to get'cha insurance quotes."

Allen M replied: "i actually thought of the same thing. Now im in the market for the G35. It maybe slightly higher for repairs and upkeep but not so much that i would buy a honda over it. I highly recommend the infinity because of the VQ35 engine is a monster compared to anything honda might make. Also its rear wheel drive and a true sports coupe. Depends on what you are looking for though. If you need a point A to point B car maybe the honda is a better fit. If you dont mind the the premium gas and want to have some real fun and look good doing it, get the G35 coupe. Look for one with low mileage and it will be pretty reliable."
